Experience in the processing and examination of
animal tissues for transmission electron microscopy,
Scanning electron microscopy, and freeze- fracture
techniques.

Dr. Marei had
participated in
managing and coordination of the electron microscope
Research unit in Varginia-Maryland Regional College
of Veterinary Medicine, Virginia Polytechnic
Institute and State University, Blacksburg,
Virginia, USA (1992-1994).

Good technical experience in
microtomy, ultratomy as well as cryostat sectioning.

Professional experience in
histochemistry and immunohistochemistry both at the
light microscopic and electron microscopic level.

Dr. Marei had got a
professional experience in the application of E
learning and blended learning at the level of
Egyptian Veterinary Medical Collages during his work
as a project manager for one of the HEEPF projects.
(2005-present).
-
Currently Dr. Marei is
preparing and developing distance learning resources
(CD_ROM, multimedia presentations and web sites for
three image-based (Histology, Pathology and
Radiology) Veterinary courses. With an ultimate
objective to establish distance learning resources
the entire veterinary curricula (about 27
preclinical and clinical courses).

Dr. Marei maintain and practice
consultancy to many staff members in many Egyptian
universities concerning the application and
implementation of e and blended learning for
enhancement teaching of the entire veterinary
medical courses.

Professional experience in the application of
Learning Content Management System (LCMS) and
establishment of online courses for the first time
in the field of veterinary medical curriculum.

Good Knowledge of computer work
(Window XP, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access,
PowerPoint, Adob Photoshop, Flash, Animation, 3D
Studio, Java, web design, LCMS (ATutor, Moodle,
WebCT, Internet and others).
